This temporary exhibition tells the story of Bertel Thorvaldsen’s own personal fascination with the gemstones of the antiquity, which have been a great artistical inspiration to many of his works.

With a poetic and subtle approach JAC studios has integrated modern story telling techniques with the existing more than 170 years old interior.

Wooden display cases invite visitors and guests to get an intimate view of the precious gemstones and immerse in the stories of the gemstones through different video and sound stations.
