The concept of the exhibition design is framed around 6 narratives about love and shows Thorvaldsen’s affinity for mythological motifs particularly the ones relating to love.
The design of the glass display cases which exihibit Thorvaldsen’s beautiful drawings and sketches is simple and clean. Contributory, sculptures are subtly staged in a scenography playing with light, mirrors, and transparency to embrace the intimacy of the theme.
Informative media installations are implemented through film and sound, and visitors can engage in the tales of love and the timeless relevance of the theme and feelings.
