CLAY Museum of Ceramic Art Denmark, Ceramic Momentum
Exhibition, 2019
Show info
The exhibition at CLAY Museum is a variation of staged spatial experiences and situations, which are closely designed to each artist. Presenting the current trends and developments within the international world of ceramics, the exhibition explores the contrast and interaction between the materiality of the ceramic objects and the extensive use of social media by contemporary artists. The overlap of materials, textures, and colors together create a fragmented unity, where the overall expression of the exhibition is defined by the interdependence and the composition that the various artist create together.
Ceramic Momentum is built in off-the-shelf materials such as MDF, perforated steel, acrylic, paper and foam.
